Peggy Diane Williams was given to this earth March 19 ^th in 1955 to her late parents, Hillary and Velma Williams. She was born in Zachary, La, raised in Port Hudson, La, and later became a resident of Baton Rouge, La where she lived the rest of her life. Peggy became a CNA by trade and worked at Capitol Nursing Home for many years. Peggy was a devoted mother and grandmother, a true friend, and a loving, supportive sister. She loved to fish, go to the casino, cook for her family, puzzles, and much more. She was a gentle spirit and a force to be reckoned with. She was called home on May 1 ^st , 2021, surrounded by loved ones, at Our Lady of the Lake.

Peggy leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Antionette Williams, two grandchildren, Kendrell Alford (Jerinisha) and Di'Neisha Johnson (Andre), a grandson by extension, DaQuante Williams, a great-granddaughter, Videl Johnson and an unborn great-grandchild; eight sisters, Marion Jackson, Rosie Paul, Clementine Horton (Joe), Brenda McClure (Willie), Sharon Williams, Deborah Williams, Paula Williams, and Yvette Williams; five brothers, Charles Williams (Joan), Hillary Williams (Patsy), Gerald Williams ("Cookie"), Ricky Williams, and Ernest Williams (Lee); beloved friends Leanna Hills (Curtis), Karen Price (Tim), Michel Richardson, and Joyce Haney; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother, Suela Starks, a granddaughter, J'Kayla Williams, two sisters, Velma Williams and Ida Daniels, three nephews, Edward Daniels Jr., Edward Daniels III, and Marcus Williams, her best friend, Tonya Hills, and her cousin Janie Jackson. We loved her so, but God loved her more.
