Monique Centrell Cole was born on June 11, 1979, to Linda Cole and Larry Armstrong at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She departed this earthy life on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Obituary She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Marshall Hall at Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was baptized in 1991 at the age of twelve. Monique was a member of the children, adult, and mass choir. Monique obtained her high school diploma from Baton Rouge Preparatory Academy in 1998. She admired and participated in the ROTC program for two years. Monique exemplified a servant's heart as she was generous in giving a supporting hand to anyone in need. For many years, Monique volunteered at various churches and community centers throughout the city of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Monique was preceded in death by her daughter, Jaylyn Cole; father, Larry Armstrong; grandfathers, George Cole and Reverend Joseph Armstrong; aunts, Elaine Armstrong and Tasha Cole. She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Monica Cole, Messiah Cole, and Ji'Macelyn Ebron all of Baton Rouge, LA; mother, Linda Cole of Baton Rouge, LA; grandmothers, Augustine Harris, and Ella Armstrong both of Baton Rouge, LA ; five sisters, Kimberly Cole of Baton Rouge, LA, Rachel Hatch (Cody) of Port Neches, TX, Lemeeka Prophet, Laporsha Coleman, and Latoria Stewart (Robert Jr.) all of Baton Rouge, LA; two brothers, Larry Hardest, and Larry Coleman both of Baton Rouge, LA; five uncles, three aunts, a host of nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
