Stevenson
Apr 20, 1944 — Aug 23, 2024
Baton rouge
Sis Mildred Stevenson was born on April 20, 1944 to the late Ellen Hayes-Stevenson and Houston Stevenson. She accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at an early age. Later she united with Greater Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend S.C. Dixon where she served in the choir until her mother's help started to fail.
Sis Stevenson spent her career and service to the Lord caring and helping others as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Even after retiring Sis. Stevenson continued her mistry caring for many friends and family including both her parents and always making herself available to her older sister, Gloria Porche until the Lord called them each back to unto Him for their rest and reward.
Left to cherish precious memories are her two daughters, Tammy R. Stevenson and Ronda R. Stevenson-Berry (Fred). Six grandchildren Andre M. Edwards, Tyler J. Berry, Aaron M. Berry, Sydney R. Berry, Kameron G. Cummings and Kaleb D. Cummings. A host of loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Gloria P. Porsche and brother Larry E. Stevenson.
