Michael T. Covington 47 was a person who loved the Lord with all his heart. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, he was a member of Interdenominational Faith Assembly.  Michael worked in the field as a pipeline layer, he loved his children, family, and friends. Michael enjoyed making others happy and keeping them laughing at all his crazy jokes. He was a good-hearted person and loved everyone.

Michael T. Covington was born unto Barbara Alexander and George Harris Sr. on October 22, 1973, in Baton Rouge, La. He departed this life on October 9, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father George Harris Sr, Paternal and Maternal Grandparents. He is survived by his wife Teshare Covington, four daughters Mykal Covington, Melany Covington, Mya Covington, and Miracle Covington; Seven grandchildren, his mother Evangelist Barbara Alexander; Sisters Wanda Harris, Betty Covington, Kim Reed (Joseph Reed), Lolita Covington; Brothers Dwayne Harris (Sharon Harris) Kevin Harris (Phyllis Harris), George Harris Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
