Mary Lee Dalton, a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA, was born on January 28th, 1961, to the late Marion Stevenson and Matthew Dalton. On April 16, 2025, she peacefully departed from this Earthly life to enter eternal life, at the age of 64. Mary was a vibrant soul who brought joy, warmth and laughter wherever she went.

Known for her infectious laugh and her love for family gatherings, Ms. Mary was the heart of every celebration; whether it was a holiday meal, a birthday party, or a casual Sunday visit, she brought people together with her warm spirit and her deep sense of love. Her home was always open, her smile was always ready, and he heart was always full.

Mary leaves to cherish her precious memories, five children; Marion (Mark) McKee, Donovan Dalton, Barry Dalton, Darnell Dalton, Shaquille (Stephanie) Dalton; Sisters Evelyn (Edward) Andrews, Beverly Smith; Brothers Eric (Cherise) Stevenson, Ronald (Anetra) Stevenson, James Stevenson; Grandchildren Tyanna, J'mya, Anisha, Amyria, Xzavier, Anthony Jr, Donavan Jr, and Shaquille; A host of Cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Mary was welcomed at Heaven's Gate with open arms by her parents, brothers Edward Stevenson, Gregory Stevenson, and Ezell Harold; Grandchildren Isaiah and Nala Dalton.

Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on in the laughter she inspired and the love that she shared.
