Lydia L. Hudson-Givens, departed this life peacefully with her loving family by her side at home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
She was 69 years of age and a native of Baton Rouge, La. Lydia is reunited with her late son, Shannen V. Hudson; Mother, Gloria Jones; Father Elvin Hudson Jr.  She's survived by her husband, Marvin Givens; one daughter, Savannah Hudson of Baton Rouge, La; two sons: Roderick Hudson of Long Beach, CA  & Nairanzo Hudson of Dallas, TX; One brother, Gregory Hudson of Baton Rouge, La; One sister, Wanda Ogunrinde of  Baton Rouge, La; Six grandchildren and a host of loving family members, friends, and neighbors.

Services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at St John Baptist Church, 820 Rafe Meyer Road, Baton Rouge, La 70807. Dr. Donald Ruth, Officiating. Viewing at 9:00 a.m.-Celebration of life service at 10:00 a.m.

Interment: Southern Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
