Leroy Grant was called home to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Leroy fought a good fight; he finished his course and kept the faith. As God has promised, he will now receive his crown of righteousness; with the Lord his righteous judge will reward him as in II Timothy 4:8.
Leroy was born to the union of the late Wilbert Jr. and Mary Grant on December 18, 1970 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Leroy confessed his faith in Christ at a very young age. He attended school in East Baton Rouge Parish and worked as a construction worker his whole life.
Leroy leaves to cherish his memories a daughter Rochelle Weber, and 2 grandkids Christopher Jr. and Claire Shelmire; Seven brothers Willie Rattler, Leon Grant, Wilbert Grant, Lesley Grant, Edward (Jennifer) Grant, Johnny (Glenda) Grant, Willie (Twanda) Grant, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Two sisters; Peggy Grant; Senovia (Reginald) Cossett, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Leroy was proceeded in death by his parents; Wilbert Jr. and Mary Grant; kids Micheal and Michelle Weber; brother Derrick Grant; sister Helen Robertson; niece Pamela Robertson; maternal grandparents; Harry and Jeanetta Rattler, paternal grandparents, Wilbert and Rosa Grant; a host of uncles and aunts.
