Ella Ween Williams gained her heavenly wings to join God in His majestic paradise
at the home of loving daughter and son-in-law on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 7:15 p.m.
Ella Ween was surrounded by family as she drifted into everlasting peace. Ella Ween
Williams was born on Thursday, March 15, in 1934 to the lovely union of Mr. Charles
and Mrs. Cornelia Botley.
Ella Ween Williams accepted God at an early age at the Sweet Home Baptist
Church in Gloster, Mississippi.
Ella Ween Williams was educated in the schools of Tylertown, Mississippi of the
Walthall County School District.
Ella Ween Williams took pride in her career as a domestic worker for several
decades. She enjoyed taking care of others. Ella Ween viewed serving others as a
delight and not a chore.
Ella Ween Williams eventually relocated to Maringouin where she raised her
loving family. Ella Ween loved her family dearly. She enjoyed having family
gatherings. Ella Ween also enjoyed dancing and music. Ella Ween had a very warm
and loving personality; she was full of laughter, love, and life. We are forever grateful
to God that He allowed our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister,
aunt, cousin, and cherished friend to walk His creation for 89 years.
Ella Ween Williams leaves to cherish her loving memory two daughters, Brenda
Ann Williams Jones (Mario), and Earnestine Williams, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana;
grandchildren, Corine Williams Winding (Husband Name) of McComb, Mississippi,
Robert Williams, Sherry Williams and Anthony Williams all of (Mississippi), Latoya
Williams of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Danielle Williams of Slidell, Louisiana, Andre
Williams and Cynthia Williams, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; twenty great
grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Ella Ween Williams was proceeded in death by her parents, Charles and Cornelia
Botley; son, Floyd Williams; daughter, Ann Williams; brothers, Charles Botley, Willie
Botley, Sammy Botley, and Dave Botley; and sisters, Mary Henley, Flora Botley
Seaberry, and Dora Bell Wilson; and a host of other relatives.
