Earnest "Otis" Washington Sr was born on January 1st, 1953 to Ned Washington and Estelle Hilliard in St. Francisville, LA. He went home to be with the lord on January 1st, 2025.

Earnest is survived by five sons; Earnest Washington Jr, (Kim), Andrew Washington, Davis, Kyron, and Felton Daniels of Baton Rouge, LA; three sisters Carrie Brown of New Orleans, LA. Doretha Washington of El Paso, Texas and Dolores W Banks of Baker, LA; One brother Johnny M Washington of Baton Rouge; a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.

Earnest was preceded in death by his parents Ned and Estella Washington, six brothers, George, Isaac, Jessie, Roosevelt, Louis, and Ned Jr; five sisters Estelle, Rosalie, Martha, Mary and Dorothy.
