Earnest "Jay" Johnson Jr. was born September 19, 1997 to Sheryl and Earnest Johnson Sr.  he was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA.  Earnest entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 11, 2021.  He was 23 years old.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother; Sheryl L. Johnson, one sister; Sheena S. Augustus, A devoted brother; Ronald Avery Stevens (Tinisha). Four nephews; Zayden Byrd, Kellvon Augustus, and Noah and Avery Stevens; one niece; Janiyah Williams. A host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

Earnest was preceded in death by his Father; Earnest Jerome Johnson Sr., his paternal and maternal Grandparents.

Services will be conducted by Min. Ronald Stevens at St. Mary B.C. located at 1252 N. Acadian Thruway, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.  Interment will be held at Mt. Pilgrim Benevolent Society Community Cemetery at 8676 Elm Grove West, Baton Rouge, LA 70807.  Repast will be at St. Mary B.C. Activity Center.
