Earl was born January 6, 1955, to the late Florence Davis and Earl Davis of Ferriday, Louisiana. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Flannery Oaks Guest House in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and he was 71 years old.
Earl received a formal education at Ferriday High School in Ferriday, Louisiana. Upon graduation he attended Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana and served in the United States Army. He was employed with LCC Contracting Company then later became a self-employed contractor. He was a hard worker. He sought to help and encourage all who need such. He was busy and always alert to find something to do.
Earl leaves to cherish his memory of his loving wife Cynthia Davis, his children, Earl Donnell Davis, II (Laura) of Baton Rouge, LA, Robert Earl Davis of Baton Rouge, LA, Reniece Small (Bertram) of Austell, GA, Johanna Hogan of Tyler, TX and Ebonie Davis of Baton Rouge, LA, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Earl was proceeded in death by his parents; his daughter Camni De'Shawn Jones, and brother-in-law, Wilbert Forrest, Ir and other loved ones.
