Dorothy Ann Montgomery Davis, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and devoted servant of God, made her peaceful transition from this life on January 1, 2025. Dorothy graduated from Batchelor High School in 1969 and pursued higher education at Southern University in Baton Rouge. In 1974, she earned a degree in Health & Human Nutrition, leading her to a lifelong passion for child nutrition. She worked for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System for 32 years. She was a proud and active member of Greater King David Baptist Church and her unwavering faith and compassion touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her sons, Adrian and Jarod Davis, both of Baton Rouge; her grandchildren, LaTadrian and Ian Davis; her sister, Birdell Montgomery Bailey of Baton Rouge; and her brothers, Wilman Montgomery (Beverly) of Baton Rouge and Anderson Montgomery (Elwanda) of New Orleans. She also leaves behind a host of extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will miss her dearly.
