The journey of Doris Patin Dangerfield's Christian Life ended on Saturday August 7, 2021. She was called by the Lord to a Life of Eternal Rest.
Doris was born on November 6, 1957, to the late Clarence and Erma Lee Jones-Patin in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Doris was a founding member of Ministry of New Beginning Church where she served in many capacities, including Secretary and President of Usher Board.
God truly blessed Doris and John Dangerfield with a beautiful bundle of joy, a son, Isiah Noel Dangerfield.
Doris matriculated through the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, upon graduation she attended Xavier University in New Orleans.
Doris has the distinction, of being the first Afro-American and female Firefighter in East Baton Rouge Parish. She was currently employed by Sam's Club.
Doris loved Life, Family and Friends, she was a people person and never met a stranger. To know her was to love her.
Those who will miss her strength, character and warm personality are her son Isiah Noel Dangerfield, her favorite sister Selina Gail Patin, brother Larry (Debra) Patin; grandchildren Izaijah and Island Dangerfield, special friends D'Angelo Lee and Kevin Brown, many nieces, and nephews; godchildren Detra Palmer Williams, Miesha Page Williams, Monique and Montreal; a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Erma Lee Patin, Sr.; sister Janice Robertson and Brother Clarence Patin, Jr.
