David W. Alexander, 83, born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Joseph, Sr. And Lottie Alexander, moved to Baton Rouge, LA at a young age. He entered into eternal rest on January 1, 2025. He was a graduate of Scotlandville High, Southern University, and Interbaptist Theological Seminary.
He was a retired supervisor at ExxonMobil, very proud retired officer of the U.S. Navy, but he was most proud to be a minister of the gospel.
David loved and cherished his family, his loving and devoted wife, Etta, children, and grands. He was a businessman, entrepreneur, community leader and servant.
Services will be Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Only viewing 8:30am until religious services at 10:30am held at The Greater New Galilee Baptist Church 9185 Wilbur St. Baton Rouge, LA 70807. Rev. David L. Brown, Jr. is the officiating Pastor of Greater Community Bible Baptist Church. Professional services entrusted to Charles Mackey Funeral Home.
