Clifton "Pete" Morris Brown, 59 of Baton Rouge, LA passed away, June 22, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, Baton Rouge, La. Clifton was born  June 6, 1962 to the late Jim Brown and Olivia Palmer Bell in Woodville, MS.

Clifton was baptized by the late Rev. Wilbert Jackson at the Greater Morning Star Baptist Church.  He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1981. Pete was a dedicated and longtime employee at Kirks Tires and Accessories where he worked as an automotive technician for years.  Pete was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, and friend.

He leaves to cherish his memories four children; Christopher "Chris" Robertson, Jessica (Edward) Brady, Jamie Brown and Randahl Allen, one God-daughter; Ivory Brown, four brothers; James (Helen) Brown, John (Dianne) Brown, Edward (Shelia) Brown, and Carlus (Carla) Matthew, four sisters: Denise Pitts, Edith Brown, Lisa Baker, Carolyn Brown, Six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Clifton was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, one sister; Janet Mirabeau and two nephews.

Funeral services are Saturday, July 3, 2021 at New Light MBC, 650 Blount Rd. Baton Rouge, LA. A Public Visitation is from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM and religious services to begin at 11:00 AM.
