Obituary

Charlie Robinson was born on November 20, 1938 to the late Joseph and Albertha Robinson.  He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Arlington Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Ezekiel Wilson in Baton Rouge, LA.

Charlie went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Baton Rouge General Mid-City Hospice Butterfly Wing located in Baton Rouge, LA.

Charlie was educated in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System.  He was employed by Louisiana State University for several years until the Lord prompted him to become self employed by starting his own lawn service.  He worked throughout East Baton Rouge Parish land scaping private and commercial lawns.

Charlie loved spending time with family and friends in celebration of the holidays, birthdays and family functions.  He could not only make you smile but created an infectious atmosphere of laughter, joy and love that drew in others, treating and making them feel like family.  Playing the keyboard and singing was his heart.  He would sometime sit up hours at night playing the keyboard and singing.
