On Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 8:55 a.m., the Angel of our Lord took the hand of our loved one and gently led him to paradise. Mr. Anthony Leroy Singleton, affectionately known as "SHACK" was born on January 04, 1962, to the late Mr. David Leroy Singleton and Mrs. Leona Moore Singleton in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Dr. Reverend Emmitt Spurlock at the Greater Beach Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

"SHACK" was a graduate of Glen Oaks High School Class of 1980. He was employed at Bordelon's Milk Company, Capitol Produce, Bobby Foster Lawn Service, and Waste Management, and VIP. "SHACK" enjoyed being around his family and friends and living his best life. "SHACK" favorite sayings were Run Your Mouth, my name not boy it's Anthony Leroy Singleton, and I'm a Lil Piece of Tin well put together.

"SHACK" leaves to cherish is legacy and life his children Alicia Phillips (Donald), Anthony Phillips (Itedra), Ariana Phillips (Joshua), Ron Christoper Johnson (Brittany) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and PFC Alexia Phillips of San Antonio, Texas. Sixteen grandchildren Alijah, Da'Nyria, Alexander, Anthony, Jr., A'Khirya, TraV'ante, Antionna, Arien, Adrain, Aaden, Deamond, Amazi, Jayla, Jiya, Amani, Amir. Two devoted and loving sisters Melba and Ericko Singleton, Deadra Washington, three brothers Carl Washington (Tina), Le'Terrance (Sherika), and Duane Washington. Aunt Laverne Brown (George). Sister-in-Law Stephanie Williams, Favorite Cousin Barnetta Maryland, His road dog and game talking buddy Clyde Jones, Sr., Lifetime friend Audrey Talbert, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

"SHACK" transitioned to his Heavenly home where he was welcomed by his loving parents David and Leona Singleton, one son Antonio,

granddaughter Amari Davis, two brothers David Maurice Singleton (Dog) and Leroy Putman, niece Shakeisha Williams, Maternal grandmother Lubertha Keller, Paternal grandmother Georgia Mae Jones Singleton.
